Possum & Squidge respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, join our mailing list, contact us, use Parent Coach or, when available, purchase our products.

What we may collect

Depending on how you use our services, we may collect your name, email address, contact and delivery details, order and transaction information, messages you send us, waitlist preferences, and basic technical or website-usage information. We aim to collect only information reasonably needed to provide and improve our products and services.

Children’s information

Our products are designed for children, but our website, purchases, accounts and Parent Coach are intended to be managed by parents, carers or other adults. We do not intentionally ask children to create accounts or provide personal information. Parents should avoid entering a child’s full name or other identifying information unless a feature clearly requires it. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, remove it.

Parent Coach information

If future Parent Coach features allow a parent or carer to enter or save information about a child’s learning, progress or activities, we will aim to collect only what is reasonably needed to provide that feature and will update this policy to explain how that information is handled.

How we use information

We may use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide Parent Coach and other digital resources, fulfil and support orders, communicate about products or services you request, manage our waitlist, operate and improve the website, understand how our resources are used, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations.

Email and marketing

If you choose to receive news or product updates, we may email you about Possum & Squidge. You can unsubscribe using the link in an email or by contacting us. Transactional or service messages may still be sent where needed to provide something you requested.

Service providers and overseas processing

We may use trusted providers for website hosting, analytics, email, payments, ecommerce, fulfilment and other business functions. Those providers may process information on our behalf and may operate outside Australia. Payment card details may be handled directly by our payment provider rather than stored by Possum & Squidge. We will update this policy as our final service providers and data flows are established.

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies for site functionality, analytics and service improvement. If we introduce advertising or additional tracking technologies, we will update our notices and controls as appropriate.
