These terms apply when you use the Possum & Squidge website, Parent Coach and other digital resources we make available. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms. Separate sales, shipping and returns terms will apply when our online store launches.

About our resources

Possum & Squidge creates playful, hands-on educational products and parent guidance. Our resources support learning at home and complement, rather than replace, a child’s school program, teacher or individual professional educational, developmental, medical or therapeutic advice.

Parent Coach

Parent Coach scripts, activities and guidance are provided for personal and household use with Possum & Squidge products. Children develop at different rates. Suggested ages, session lengths, learning progressions and readiness indicators are guides rather than guarantees of a particular educational outcome.

Adult supervision and safety

Our website, purchases, accounts and Parent Coach are intended to be managed by adults. Parents and carers are responsible for choosing activities appropriate to the child and providing suitable supervision. Follow all product-specific age, safety and care instructions supplied with a kit, and stop using any damaged component that may create a safety risk.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the original Possum & Squidge website content, written materials, Parent Coach content, illustrations, characters, branding, product artwork, activity layouts, printables and other original resources are owned by or licensed to Possum & Squidge and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Purchased or authorised materials may be used for personal, non-commercial learning within your household, subject to any product-specific licence. They must not be copied, republished, sold, sublicensed, distributed, uploaded, commercially reproduced or used to create competing products without permission, except where the law permits.

Possum & Squidge does not claim ownership of general mathematical or educational ideas, methods, facts, symbols or concepts merely because they are used in our products.

Product information

We aim to describe products, inclusions, pricing, availability and learning content accurately. During development, prototypes and proposed specifications may change before commercial release. When products become available for purchase, the product page and checkout information current at the time of purchase will form part of the applicable sale terms.

Purchases and Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. When products are offered for sale, our sales, delivery and returns information will operate in addition to those rights.

Acceptable use

Please do not misuse the website or Parent Coach, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorised access, use automated systems to extract substantial amounts of protected content, or use our services or materials unlawfully.

Our website may link to or rely on third-party services. We do not control third-party content, availability or privacy practices. A link does not necessarily mean we endorse everything on that service.

Availability and changes

Possum & Squidge is currently developing its product range. Product specifications, features, content, availability and planned pricing may change as products are tested and prepared for launch. We may update, suspend or discontinue website or Parent Coach features where reasonably necessary.

To the extent permitted by law, Possum & Squidge is not responsible for loss caused by misuse of our products or services, failure to follow supplied instructions, or reliance on general educational information as though it were individual professional advice. Nothing in this section limits liability or consumer rights where the law does not permit that limitation.
